About Fazuelos
Fazuelos, fijuelas or deblas in are traditional Jewish pastries of Sephardic cuisine. They are the Sephardic equivalent to the Ashkenazi hamantashen. Specifically, a fazuelo is a fried thin dough made of flour and many eggs. Turkish Jews add brandy to the dough and Moroccan Jews eat them with cinnamon and syrup.
