Festungsberg

Festungsberg is a mountain in Salzburg municipality, Salzburg state, Austria. Its summit at about 542 m is the site of Hohensalzburg Fortress. The mountain is located in the south of Salzburg's historic centre. It forms the northern rim of the Berchtesgaden range within the Northern Limestone Alps.
