Firimbi Life story
Firimbi was a United Somali Congress commander during the Somali Civil War. In 1993, he captured US Army pilot Michael Durant after his Black Hawk helicopter was shot down during the Battle of Mogadishu, and he sought to negotiate the release of Mohamed Farrah Aidid's advisers in exchange for Durant's release.
