Flipping The Block

The outcome of any auction is always unpredictable, but after weeks filled with sweat equity poured into renovating dilapidated condominiums, the contestants in "Flipping the Block" will gladly take their chances on a bidding process. That's because the winning prize in this competition is $50,000, awarded to the team whose profit is the highest after the redone condos are sold at auction. Hosted by Josh Temple ("House Crashers"), the series features four, two-person teams -- a mix of woodworkers, artists, aspiring interior designers, and experienced builders -- that demo and redo four identical units into move-in-ready show pieces, all while living in the spaces during construction. Scott McGillivray ("Income Property") and Nicole Curtis ("Rehab Addict") judge each team's room-by-room transformations and decide which duo win weekly prizes, including extra cash for their budget and even help from guest designer David Bromstad. …
