Franz Ketterer Life story
Franz Anton Ketterer was a German clockmaker. Ketterer, one of the founding fathers of the Black Forest clockmaking industry in Germany, was born in the village of Schönwald im Schwarzwald. He is chiefly remembered as one of the earliest makers of cuckoo clocks in the Black Forest.
