Frederick Martin Lehman

Frederick Lehman was the pastor who wrote the well known hymn, "The Love of God." Lehman emigrated to America with his family at the age of four. They settled in Iowa, where Lehman lived most of childhood. He studied for the ministry at Northwestern College in Naperville, Illinois. He married Emma Louise Dermyer.
