From Wags To Riches With Bill Berloni

Bill Berloni's life changed after he became a father figure to a homeless girl. Their relationship was challenging at first, but a combination of patience, persistence and trial-and-error eventually won out and led to the two becoming not just best friends but famous too. The girl, you see, was a terrier mix whom Berloni rescued from a shelter, trained and cast as Sandy in the 1977 Broadway musical "Annie." Sandy never missed a performance in more than seven years, and Berloni's career as a theatrical animal trainer was born.
