About Garajonay National Park
Garajonay National Park is a densely forested area on La Gomera, one of Spain's Canary Islands. Misty and humid, the park has rare laurel forests and many subtropical plant species. From the Pajarito trailhead, a circular route reaches Alto de Garajonay peak, with archaeological sites and sweeping views. To the east, Mirador El Bailadero lookout has views of the Los Roques rock formations and of the Hermigua ravine.
