About George Curran
George Curran became the Bass Trombone of the New York Philharmonic in June 2013 after serving in that role on an acting basis with the Orchestra during the 2012–13 season. Previously, he was a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for six years and a fellow with the New World Symphony.
