George Guest CBE FRCO was a Welsh organist and choral conductor.

London-born Spoken Word artist and award-winning podcast Creator, George The Poet reflects on belonging, diaspora, and his Ugandan heritage in an interview with the BBC ahead of his first gig in the country.
George, real name George Mpanga, refused to take the MBE, because the "pure evil" of the British Empire . He said that "colonial trauma is inflicted on The Children of Africa," he was able to accept.
He made the revelation in the last episode of his BBC series of Sounds, in which he complains about The Legacy of colonialism.
