George Paoa

George Kapulenui Paoa was born on August 17, 1934 in Kalia, Waikiki, Honolulu, and we lost him at the age of 65, on April 24, 2000, at sea on an ocean cruise. George first sang on KGMB radio's “Listerine Toothpaste Amateur Hour” and won 2nd place in 1946. After graduating from Kamehameha Schools in 1952.
