Geraint Jones Life story
Geraint Owen Jones MBE is a former cricketer who played for both England and Papua New Guinea. Born to Welsh parents in Papua New Guinea, between 2004 and 2006 he was the first-choice wicketkeeper for the England cricket team. He later played international cricket for Papua New Guinea from 2012 to 2014.

As first-choice wicketkeeper for England, Geraint Jones was a member of the side which won The Ashes in 2005.
Since retiring in Kent , The County he represented for most of his professional career, he's become A Teacher .
He's also taking on a new Challenge - by becoming a retained firefighter at his local station in Sandwich, Kent .
