Gerður Helgadóttir Life story
Gerður Helgadóttir was an Icelandic sculptor and stained glass artist. She studied at the Art and Craft School of Iceland, in Denmark, at the Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, Paris.
