When Barry Wirth (Sam Worthington) is released from prison, he vows to go straight and make an honest man of himself. He and fellow ex-con Johnny Spitieri (David Wenham) become cooks at a restaurant owned by reformed jailbird-turned-restaurateur Darren Barrington (Timothy Spall).
