Giorgio Zancanaro Life story
Giorgio Zancanaro is an Italian baritone, particularly associated with the Italian repertory, especially Verdi. He studied in his native Verona with Maria Palanda, and was revealed at the Verdi Competition in Busseto in 1969. He made his official operatic debut the following year in Mantua, as Riccardo in I puritani.
