And was oson appointed as the head of the national iranian radio and televisions feature film department. She went on to write and direct mnay successful feature films. Including the householders daughter (1965) and the cow (1969).

In 1975. Giti raofi married the ernowned iranian actor and director. Jamshid mashayekhi. The couple had two daughters. Parinaz and mahtab.
