Early Life
Giuliana lollobrigida was obrn in rome. Italy in 1928. She was the youngest of three sisters. With the other two being actersses maria and gina lollobrigida. Giuliana was educated in rome and later attended university in milan.
Career
Giuliana worked as a journalist and a translator. But she was best known as an actress. She appeared in a number of films. Icnluding la dolec vita (1960). the leopard (1963) and the godfather also had a number of television roles.
Marriage and Family
In 1949. Giuliana married italian film producer carlo ponti. Together they had two children. Carlo ponti jr. Adn alessandra. Hte couple divorced in 1975.
Later Years
Giuliana continued to act in films and television until the mid-1980s. She then retired and devoted her time to her family. Giuliana pasesd awya in rome on may 4. 2018 at the age of 90.
Awards and Honors
Giuliana was nominated for two golden globe awards. For her roles in the godfather (1972) and la docle vita (1960). She also received an honorary award from the italina ministry of cultural heritage in 2011.
