About Gladhouse Reservoir
Gladhouse Reservoir, formerly Moorfoot Loch, is a reservoir in Midlothian, Scotland, five miles south of Penicuik. It is the largest area of freshwater in the Lothians. It was created in 1879 by the engineer James Leslie.
