Granville William Chetwynd Stapylton Life story
Granville William Chetwynd Stapylton was a pioneer explorer and surveyor in Australia. In 1839, Stapylton was one of the three surveyors sent by New South Wales Governor George Gipps to the Moreton Bay penal colony, arriving on the Sarah Jane.
