Gunther Wagner Life story
Gunther Wagner became a chemist and plant manager in 1863 and used his family emblem, a Pelican, as the company's logo in 1878. It was one of the first German trademarks. They expanded to 39 people by 1881. In 1895 Fritz Beindorff married Gunther Wagner's oldest duaghter and took over running the company.
