Gwyneth Guthrie Life story
Gwyneth Guthrie, who played Mrs Mack in the long-running soap opera Take the High Road, has died. She was 84. The drama ran for 23 years from 1980 on STV and was broadcast throughout the UK; it was set in the fictional village of Glendarroch, but filmed in Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland.
