About Gypsy 83
Gypsy (Sara Rue), a 20-something outcast living in small-town Ohio, has long believed that her mother chose her dream of becoming a singer over her own family. One day, her friend Clive (Kett Turton), a fellow goth, reads about a tribute event dedicated to Gypsy's personal hero, Stevie Nicks, which is scheduled to take place in New York City. They hit the road in hopes of performing for the show, thereby getting their foot in the door of the city's music scene, but there are bumps along the way.
