About Haamstede Castle
Haamstede Castle is an old castle in the village of Haamstede on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland. It is a rijksmonument. The keep dates from the 13th century. In 1525 Haamstede castle was destroyed by fire, but later on the castle was rebuilt.
