About Hagi
Hagi is a coastal city in Japan. The ruins of Hagi Castle sit in Shizuki Park, known for its spring cherry blossoms and the forested slopes of Mt. Shizuki. Nearby is Kikugahama beach. The Castle Town area's narrow streets are lined with samurai-era residences. Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and ceramics are on display at the Hagi Uragami Museum. Farther east, Tōkō-ji Temple is known for its collection of stone lanterns.
