About Hankley Common
Hankley Common is a 560-hectare nature reserve and filming location in the south-west of Elstead in Surrey. It is owned by the Ministry of Defence. The site is part of the Thursley, Hankley and Frensham Commons Special Area of Conservation, Special Protection Area and Site of Special Scientific Interest.

A large grass fire has been declared a major incident by firefighters in Surrey.
