About Happy Mondays
Happy Mondays are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980. The original line-up was Shaun Ryder, his brother Paul Ryder, Gary Whelan, Paul Davis, and Mark Day. Mark "Bez" Berry later joined the band onstage as a dancer/percussionist. Rowetta joined as a second vocalist in 1990.

DJ and producer Andrew Weatherall is dying
The musician found fame as The Acid -house DJ, and forged a stellar career as a producer
Andrew Weatherall , one of the UK's most respected DJs and record companies, died at the age of 56 years.
The musician, born in Windsor, rose to fame during The Acid house era, and worked with greats such as New Order and Happy Mondays .
His production and remix work on Primal Scream 's Screamadelica, it turned into a defining album of the era, and The Band gained the Mercury Prize in 1992.
Weatherall died in the hospital on Monday Morning , his spokesman confirmed.
The Cause of death was a pulmonary embolism.
"He was treated in the hospital, but unfortunately, The Blood clot reached his heart. His death was quick and peaceful"
