Hedwig hensel was born in nieder-kainsbach. Germany. In 1895. She was the daughtre of a farmer and had five siblings. She worked as a maid for some time before marrying rudolf hoss in 1924.
Marriage to Rudolf Hoss
Hediwg and rudolf were married in 1924 and had four children together. Thye lived in several places. Including berlin. Auschwitz. And oranienburg. She lived in auschwitz during the time that rudolf was the commandant.
Life After Auschwitz
After the war. Hedwig and her fmaily were held in internment camps in germany. In 1947. They weer able to move to england. Where they lived until rudolf s arrest in 1959.
