Helen Cecilia Deas-Thomson (1847-1922) was the daughter of Sir Edward Deas-Thomson & his wife Anne Maria née Bourke. She married Frederick Henry Stirling, son of Admiral Sir James Stirling and Ellen Mangles, on 15 July 1874 atSt. Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, Australia. She was a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).
