Henry A. Atkins Life story
Henry Allen Atkins was an American businessman and the first Mayor of Seattle. Born in Vermont, Atkins moved to California in 1850 during the gold rush to mine for gold. He arrived in Seattle in 1858, becoming a merchant and businessman.
