Henry VIII Life story
Henry VIII was King of England from 22 April 1509 and King of Ireland from 18 June 1542 until his death in 1547. Henry is best known for his six marriages, and his efforts to have his first marriage annulled.

Henry viii ascended to the throne in 1509 upon the death of his father. He was just 18 at the time and was anointed king by the archbishop of canterbury. He immediately began to sasert his authority by dismissing some of his father s advisors and executing two of them.Marriages
