Higashinada Ward

Higashinada is a vast residential, cultural, and industrial area rising from the port to Mt. Rokko, where hiking trails and forest shrines overlook the city and bay. Student bars and bookshops surround campuses on the mainland and Rokko Island. The Kobe Fashion Museum has exhibits on Japanese and Western designers, while the Kosetsu Museum of Art, set in leafy grounds, displays antique weapons and calligraphy.
