Hippolyte Passy Life story
Hippolyte Passy was a French economist. He was twice Minister of Finance in the government of Louis-Philippe of France. He was an early member of the Société d'économie politique organized in 1842 by Pellegrino Rossi. His brother was the botanist and geologist Antoine François Passy.
