Hoşap Castle, Gürpınar District, Van Province, Eastern Anatolia, Turkey. It is at a distance of approximately 50 km to the city center of Van. Most of the surviving structure was built by the local Ottoman governor Sarı Süleyman Bey in 1643. Hoşap or Xoşabê means Sunday in Aramaic.
