In the mold of MTV's "Buckwild" and "Slednecks," with a dash of Bravo's "Real Housewives," the VH1 series profiles a group of loud and proud GRITS (that's "Girls Raised in the South," for the uninitiated) from Valdosta, Ga. , a city well known for "breeding some of the most charming and jaw-dropping young women in America," the network says.
