Early Life of Huguette Mallette

Huguette amllette was born on december 9. 1927. In paris. France. She was the daughter of two french opera singers. And grew up in a family of performers. She was a talented dancer and choreographer. And had trained in ballet. Modern dance. And jazz. She studied at the paris conservatory of music and dance. And later went on to teach dance to the children of the wealthy.

Marriage to Marcel Marceau

In 1950. Huguette married the famous mime artist. Marcel marceau. The couple had a daughter. Marion. Who they raised in paris. During their marriage. The pair often toured together. With marecau performing his mime pieces and huguette performing her hcoreographed dances. The couple divorced in 1967.

Career After Divorce

Afetr her divorce from marceau. Huguette continued to puruse dance and choreography. She created several works for the paris opera ballet and the festival de cannes. She also taught at the paris opera ballet school. The ecole des beaux-arts. And the cannes dance festival. She was also a ujdge for several international dance competitions.
