Ikuo Oyama Life story
Ikuo Oyama was a Japanese socialist politician. He fled Japan in 1933 to the United States, where he got a job at Northwestern University at its library and political science department. He returned to Japan after the end of World War II. In 1951, he was awarded the Stalin Peace Prize.
