Ion Simionescu Life story
Ion Th. Simionescu was a Romanian geologist, paleontologist and naturalist. Born in Fântânele, Bacău County, his parents Maria and Toader Gheorghiu died when he was a young child. He moved to Botoșani to be raised by his maternal grandmother.
