Isaac Ibn Ghiyyat

Isaac ben Judah ibn Ghiyyat was a Spanish rabbi, Biblical commentator, codifier of Jewish law, philosopher, and liturgical poet. He was born and lived in the town of Lucena, where he also headed a rabbinic academy. He died in Cordoba.
