Izidor Kovárik Life story
Izidor Kovárik was a fighter pilot in the Czechoslovak Air Force and Slovak Air Force who became a flying ace on the Eastern Front in the Second World War. He became Slovakia's second-highest scoring fighter ace, shooting down 28 Soviet aircraft and probably one more. He was killed in an aircraft accident in 1944.
