Jacob Van Huysum Life story
Jacob van Huysum was an 18th-century botanical painter from the northern Netherlands who moved to England in 1721. Van Huysum was baptized 25 February 1688 in Amsterdam. Both his father Justus van Huysum, and his brother Jan van Huysum, were celebrated flower painters.
