Jalālābād, or Dzalalabad, is a city in eastern Afghanistan. It is the capital of Nangarhar Province. Jalalabad is located at the junction of the Kabul River and the Kunar River.

at least 62 people have been and dozens injured by a bomb during Friday prayers in a mosque in Afghanistan, according to a provincial spokesman.
