James H. Platt Jr. Life story
James Henry Platt Jr. was an American physician, politician and businessman. After participating in the Virginia Constitutional Convention of 1868, Platt represented Virginia's 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives for two terms, from 1870 to 1875.
