Jane White Canfield Life story
Canfield, the wife of Cass Canfield, former publisher of Harper & Row, was born April 29, 1897 in Syracuse. She grew up in Fayetteville, N.Y., and graduated from Miss Porters School in Farmington, Conn. Trained as a sculptor at the Art Students League in New York, she also studied sculpture privately in Paris.
