Jaquelin Ambler Life story
SUMMARY. Jaquelin Ambler was a member of the Council of State (1780–1782) and served as the treasurer of Virginia (1782–1798). Born in Yorktown, he attended the College of William and Mary and the College of Philadelphia before returning home and becoming a partner in the family's mercantile business.
