Jean Casella Life story
Jean Casella is co-director of Solitary Watch, a web-based watchdog project that investigates and documents the use of solitary confinement in U.S. prisons and jails. Since its founding in 2009, Solitary Watch has increased public awareness and catalyzed change on a once-invisible domestic human rights issue.
