Jennifer Anne Doudna ForMemRS is an American biochemist who has done pioneering work in CRISPR gene editing, and made other fundamental contributions in biochemistry and genetics. Doudna was one of the first women to share a Nobel in the sciences.
Three scientists win Nobel for 'click' chemistry

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry has gone to Carolyn Bertozzi, Morton Meldal, and Barry Sharpless for their work on snipping molecules together, known as click chemistry.
The Winners will share prize money of 10 million Swedish Krona (£800,000).
