Jens Stoltenberg is a Norwegian politician who has been serving as the 13th secretary general of NATO since 2014. A member of the Norwegian Labour Party, he previously served as the 34th prime minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001, and again from 2005 until 2013.

Jens Stoltenberg is the 13th and current Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).He was born in Oslo.Norway on March 16.1959.He has a degree in economics from the University of Oslo.From 1990 to 2001.Stoltenberg was a member of the Norwegian Parliament and served as Minister of Finance from 2000 to 2001.He was Prime Minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001 and from 2005 to 2013.From 2014 to 2015.Stoltenberg was the leader of the Labour Party.

Stoltenberg started his political career in the 1980s as a member of the Labour Party s Youth Organization.He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1990 and served as Minister of Finance from 2000 to 2001 and as Prime Minister from 2000 to 2001 and from 2005 to 2013.In 2014.he was elected the leader of the Labour Party and in 2014.he was appointed Secretary General of NATO.
