James is a recurring character on Glee. He was a senior at Carmel High School in Akron, Ohio, the male lead of Vocal Adrenaline and one of the main antagonists in Season One. He was instructed to befriend Rachel Berry by Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran, who is secretly Rachel's biological mother.
