About John 'Axe' Adcox
John "Axe" Adcox is the secondary antagonist in the 1991 film Backdraft. He is the friend of both Lieutenant Stephen McCaffrey and Brian McCaffrey, who are both brother firefighters in the Chicago Fire Department.
