John Fletcher Pershing Life story
Pershing (John Fletcher Pershing) was president of the school board at Laclede and it was through his work that the graded schools were organized and new buildings erected. He was also postmaster in Laclede. Son of the American Revolution - Descendant of Frederick Pershing.
